Wearing his Carolina hat trucker-style and chowing down on his favorite Saturday morning Farmers Market treat,  the "choc-lat 'asant".  He finished eating and said "I'm not messy!" Love this sweet boy so much.

Half and whole

Ella takes her half birthday very seriously but fortunately she also loves to share it with Mimi's whole birthday (which is the next day).  Here they are blowing out their joint candles.

(Almost) kindergarten boy

Dash is totally convinced that he should be in Ella's kindergarten class.  When I drop her off on Friday mornings, I always go in and chat with her teachers and friends and just see what's new in the classroom.  Dash loves to take this opportunity to visit the class pet, check out what's new at the block center, and always, always to beg Jasper's dad to read them a story.  One of these days he's just going to want to stay all day.
