Thinking girl
Tonight at dinner, Ella and I were playing a game called "I'm Thinking About....". As I listened to her, I realized just how big and smart she is becoming.
We started off easy. So for example, I'd say "I'm thinking about a mommy with a girl who is 4 and a boy who is 1" which Ella easily guessed was me. She clearly loved the game so I kept going and kept making the people and places harder to guess.
I said "I'm thinking of someone who is a daddy, who tells funny stories, and has three children whose names start with M, L, and D." She guessed the name of our friend right away.
And then she started offering the clues. She was thinking of people and giving me the initials, of friends and their siblings, of teachers, and of places. It was amazing to hear her rattle off clues so easily.
